Excellent authentic Mexican food. Rare in the US to see cabeza and lengua on the menu. I had sopas pastor, asada, and carnitas and all were great.
My husband and I had the mocajete. It was a lot of food for the price. Everything was hot and tasted amazing. Service was excellent! It is a small place that is authentic Mexican. We really enjoyed it.
I can’t remember what it was called but I had this dish that was basically mushrooms and other veggies on fried masa and it was delicious. I was looking to try something new and choose this restaurant because the menu featured items I don’t see at every Mexican restaurant. I also had their watermelon water and that was nice and refreshing. Great service as well.
If you ever are in the little town of Hardeeville and you’re a fan of authentic Mexican cuisine, you must stop and dine at this restaurant. I lived on the West Coast for many decades. This is the finest Mexican restaurant I have found on the East Coast in many decades since. We were the only gringos in the restaurant, delightful and delicious.
Excellent food, excellent service. My favorite Mexican food in all of Georgia and South Carolina! So delicious the outside tacos are the best! Very flavorful! Friendly/happy staff. Again, this food was amazing!!!! Our waiter was amazing and a very good waiter! Thank you, we are from Washington State and we will be back if we're ever in the area! We were traveling and eating out with Celiac disease is not easy. I was searching for something that would not take too long but was tried and true. Find me gluten free pulled up Los Cuates as an excellent choice. Oh my! SO Yummy!!! I ordered the fajitas with the homemade corn tortillas and because I don’t like beans, I got a double side of rice. It came out on a sizzling skillet and was absolutely delicious. The salsa is slightly spicy with fantastic flavor. The chips are also their homemade corn tortilla chips made in a dedicated fryer. The fresh guacamole is absolutely delicious. My husband, who does not have to be gluten-free, ordered the churro Pollo and was delighted. There were leftovers. The portions are generous. The service was phenomenal and although the waitress did not speak English and my Spanish is very limited Google translate got us through everything else we needed to discuss.
